"I haven't seen any keys. Get out of here!" Booker didn't think anyone else had heard that shot but he had no idea. He knew Quynh would be pissed when she woke up. Joe was still in danger. "Get Andy far, far away from here. She doesn't know Andy's mortal and we need to keep it that way."

Booker figured Quynh may have loved Andy once but the ocean had twisted that love into something dark and ugly. She was in danger. She needed to be on the other side of the world from Quynh as fast as possible.

"I'll be fine, Joe, please," he pleaded. "She can't really do anything to me and I can't tell her shit."

Quynh started to twitch on the floor. Her body was healing. She'd be conscious in a minute.
